If Serv-U is running on Windows NT/XP/2000/2003 the Performance Monitor program can be used to keep an eye on your server. Performance Monitor is started through the Windows menu choice ‘Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Performance’. Once started, counters can be selected by pressing the small ‘+’ button at the top. Performance Monitor is capable of viewing counters over a LAN on another computer. To do this, press the "Select counters from computer" radio button and select the computer’s network name in the drop-down list of the Performance Monitor dialog box. The "Performance Object" entry in the same dialog box should be set to "Serv-U FTP Server". This entry will be available in the drop-down list if Serv-U is installed on the (remote) computer.
