Serv-U Language and UNICODE Support
Serv-U is available in 15 languages, and multiple languages can be used simultaneously by different users.
During installation, administrators are prompted for a language to be used during installation and the initial administrative session. After installation, individual administrators can change their language from within the Management Console and individual end users can select their language before signing on to the web client or FTP Voyager JV.
Serv-U also includes complete support for Unicode and UTF-8 character sets, which allows Serv-U to handle files, folders, users and other entities that contain non-European characters (e.g., filenames that contain Chinese characters).
