Serv-U Screenshots

The following are some screenshots from Serv-U. Each image below is only a thumbnail and can be clicked on to view a larger image.

  • The Serv-U Management Console provides quick and easy access to each of the File Server's configuration options. The Navigation menu in the bottom-left corner is accessible from any page and also allows direct access to these pages.
  • The built-in Web Client is included with all Serv-U editions and allows clients to access your File Server using their Web browser.
  • The slideshow view mode automates the process of viewing remote images while taking advantage of Serv-U's on-the-fly thumbnail generation.
  • Remote images can be viewed as thumbnails in the Web Client. Thumbnails are generated by Serv-U so only a fraction of the original file is sent to the client making thumbnails a fast and efficient way to view remote images.
  • Adding authentication support through an external database is as easy as configuring the ODBC source. Serv-U can even create all the necessary tables and columns for you.
  • Create and manage the server-side certificate for SSL encrypted communications (FTPS and HTTPS). SFTP uses a private key for encryption and allows for customization of acceptable ciphers and MACs.
  • Powerful IP access rules can restrict access to the File Server, each domain, or individual user accounts. IP addresses automatically banned for violating security settings are also shown along with their expiration time.
  • The Serv-U File Server is accessible on the iPhone and iPod Touch using the built-in Safari web browser.
  • Limits control various options within Serv-U, including bandwidth limitations, security policies, and connection limits. Notice that each limit can be applied during specific times of the day and days of the week.
  • A single domain can simultaneously support access through any of five industry standard file transfer protocols.
  • Detailed logging information for each domain is provided for all available protocols. Protocol activity and status messages are color-coded for easy comprehension. A legend is available for quick identification.
  • User properties are categorized on separate tabs for quick navigation and easy configuration. A wizard is also available to quickly create basic user accounts in four simple steps.
  • Web Client Pro supports multiple concurrent transfers and queued transfers for quick operation.
  • Web Client Pro groups uploads, downloads, and delete groups in the Transfer Pane to make it easy to sort through and view in real-time what is occurring in your transfer session.
  • Flexible configuration options allow Web Client Pro to be customized to anyone's specific needs.
  • Pause and resume transfers on demand using the intuitive toolbar built into Web Client Pro.
