Wild Card Email Address Appears in Black List - KB Article #1333Related Articles --
Sometimes spammers use wild carded email addresses as their return address. On occasion these wild card appearing email addresses appear in the black list due to an invalid email address or due to no response.
Because Zaep uses two separate lists for wild carded email addresses and the email address, Zaep works as it should, only blocking email addresses that exactly match instead of wild carding the entire domain.
For example, if a spammer says his return email address is *@juno.com the email address *@juno.com appears in the black list because it's an invalid juno.com email address. However, you will still be able to receive email from other juno.com email addresses since *@juno.com appears only in the black list, NOT the Wild Card Black List.
