Zaep Doesn't Send Challenges to AOL and Others - KB Article #1359Related Articles --
Some ISPs will not allow you to send to their email servers directly if you are using a dynamic DNS service. Some examples of this include AOL. If you see all *@aol.com accounts listed in your Pending Challenges list as not having been sent, Zaep may need to relay those challenge messages to your ISP's SMTP server. To enable this feature:
- Double click on the Zaep icon next to your system clock.
- Select "Preferences" in the menu.
- Enable the check box for "Use SMTP relay on challenge connect failures"
When enabled Zaep attempts to connect to the sender's email server directly, once. If the connection fails or is refused by the server, Zaep relays the challenge message to your SMTP server.
