The FTP command, MODIFICATION TIME (MDTM), can be used to keep the local timestamp on a file when uploaded to a server.

Many FTP Servers do not support this function, causing errors when trying to connect though FTP Voyager. The way to prevent this is to disable MTDM within FTP Voyager.

  • Start FTP Voyager
  • Select the desired FTP Site Profile or create a new one.
  • Select the Advanced button.
  • Select File
  • Uncheck Keep local file time on uploaded files (Serv-U)
