Serv-U and DNS4Me Show Different IP Addresses When Using Dynamic DNS - KB Article #1637Related Articles -- 1593, 1242
In some cases, Serv-U's dynamic DNS tab and DNS4Me will show different values for an IP address. This discrepancy is due to the DNS servers configured under the Windows TCP/IP settings not returning a "current' value for your domain name. These servers are not complying with DNS standards. Select another set of DNS servers under your TCP/IP properties in Windows.
Contact your ISP (or whoever hosts the DNS servers you currently use) to get a more accurate local set of DNS servers and to let them know their DNS servers are not complying with DNS standards.
