In Serv-U 9.0 and above, Serv-U and FTP Voyager JV are both fully UNICODE-compliant applications. This means that they can support all languages simultaneously - the programs can display English, Chinese, Korean, Arabic and more in the same window regardless of what language is currently active on the system.
There are some limitations to this UNICODE functionality that are imposed by the typefonts installed in Windows. While Windows as an operating system does support UNICODE, it does not include the code pages for all languages. Because of this, depending on your version of Windows you may see blocks instead of the intended characters in your listings. This occurs extremely rarely and for very few cases. An example of how FTP Voyager JV can handle multiple languages is shown below.
