Secure file transfer vendor RhinoSoft has awarded an exclusive Serv-U and FTP Voyager distributorship in the UK to QBS Distribution ("QBSD"), a leader in European managed file transfer. RhinoSoft has also extended a non-exclusive distributorship to QBSD in the Middle East, Africa, and other English-speaking or European countries not covered by other RhinoSoft distributors.
(Helenville, Wisconsin) - Secure file transfer vendor RhinoSoft has awarded an exclusive Serv-U and FTP Voyager distributorship in the United Kingdom ("UK") to QBS Distribution ("QBSD"), a leader in European managed file transfer.
"QBS has developed an impressive practice around managed file transfer and we're pleased to help them deliver Serv-U as their value MFT brand," said RhinoSoft VP Jonathan Lampe.
The exclusive distribution partnership comes as QBSD launches a new "data in motion" technology consultancy in the UK to provide IT with an end-to-end solution when transferring and managing data internally and externally.
"We believe customers often do not fully acknowledge the value of digital data. QBS targets concerns around data responsibility and helps those responsible identify the value of their data and the consequences of data protection breaches," said QBSD Marketing Manager, Dhara Kothari.
With Rhinosoft as a strategic business partner, QBSD completes its portfolio of managed file transfer products and can provide its customers with a wide range of options to fit any budget.
"The education and support that QBS provides to IT professionals was key to our decision," continued Lampe. "They engage people long before they select a brand and extend the relationship long after the purchase."
RhinoSoft has also extended a non-exclusive distributorship to QBSD in the Middle East, Africa, and other English-speaking or European countries not covered by other RhinoSoft distributors.
"RhinoSoft is committed to providing the leading file transfer brands in emerging markets," said Lampe. "And QBS provides a proven route to many under-served regions."
Brands covered by the agreement include RhinoSoft's Serv-U secure file transfer server (or "FTP server") for Linux and Windows and FTP Voyager secure file client (or "FTP client"). Both Serv-U and FTP Voyager are already available in about a dozen languages required by global EMEA companies including German, Spanish, French, and Chinese.
QBS Distribution (QBSD - qbsd.co.uk) is the division of QBS Software that professionally services software resellers. The QBSD reseller network has grown extensively over 20 years and now supplies software to major corporate resellers, Large Account Resellers (LARs), value added resellers (VARs), system integrators and software procurement specialists. QBSD uses a sophisticated online order system, actively markets brands to targeted segments (such as managed file transfer), and now holds distribution rights for 18 software vendors, including RhinoSoft.
